Trump has already confessed to the crime of using our office of the Presidency and our taxpayer dollars for his personal political gain. Add in all the texts, the whistleblower, the transcripts and it’s just an Il Fait Acomplli that this lost contemptuous person will be impeached by the House. It’s just not up for debate unless one is a full TrumpBot wearing a Trump Hoodie over their head. But the Senate, currently filled with Trump Party sycophants clearly acting obsequiously towards him in order to gain advantage, will be a much tougher nut to crack.
Justice notwithstanding, for the Senate to vote for removal, it will take major defections from their constituents before they will go boldly against the Trump Beast.
Nevertheless, extremists on all sides are freaking out.
Extremists on the left want him dragged through the streets now. They had enough on the day he was elected. They’ve lost patience.
And Extremists on the right, well these clowns are throwing up conspiracy theories and all kinds of deflections in lockstep with their fearless leader giving them cover from the truth that their guy is nothing but a sociopath with a $ 10,000 John Gotti Suit who only cares about the rule of law when it favors him.
BUT WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF US?
Well, we actually care about the nation above any person or political party agenda. We care about our collective future. We do care about democracy and the rule of law. We are proud of the accomplishments of the United States of America over the last 240 plus years.
So the real question for everyone herein is “What Country Do We Want to Live in?”
Do you NOT like the law that prevents elected officials from using our offices and our tax dollars for personal political gain? Do you think Donald is right? He should be able to use his office and our taxpayer money to go after his political opponents?
I say the founding fathers were right to make this Trumpian path illegal. Trump wants to normalize this regardless of the law. Who will win the day?
If WE THE PEOPLE don’t like the law, we should change it. Of course, that won’t help Trump at this point in time. But let’s debate and vote on it. And if WE THE PEOPLE find it antiquated, let’s change it.
So if you really want this new Trumpian thing to be law, then work to get it changed.
Then just be ready when everyone starts doing it from all parties because that’s what’s definitely going to happen. In other words, when there is a President who is a Democrat, they will use our taxpayer money to investigate and go after Republicans using Foreign Governments to do their bidding and much more! Yep! That’s going to be super fun right? Imagine the chaos!
SO IS THIS THE COUNTRY YOU REALLY WANT?
Well, if you still want this Trumpian Government, then sell it my friends. Sell! Sell! Sell! Just don’t try that pitch on me cause I have already decided I am NOT buying. I like the current law.
BUT WHAT ABOUT TRUMP?
We must hold that all men are created equal under the law. It matters not that the gentleman from Mar-A-Lago stands before us an amoral stinking carcass pretending to be a man of the people.
He may be proof that some men are inferior, endowed by their maker with below-average wit and indecent slime in his veins instead of hot red blood! He may be more reptile than man. He may be so low and flat that the foot of man is incapable of crushing him! All of that may be true. But even Trump, who should have been gibbeted for treason long before today – even worthless, unworthy Donald ought to be treated equally before the law! And so again and again and again and again, I say, I do not hold with equality in all things, only with equality before the law! And Donald must get his due process equally under the law!
In fact, we are a nation of laws. We are NOT a nation that bypasses law for the sake of one sad and lost crazy lying psycho man.
In this larger spirit and for the sake of our nation it is absolutely critical we give Donald and his assigns their due process. Then, if found guilty with evidence, they must pay the price for their crimes against WE THE PEOPLE. If not, they should be allowed to continue serving WE THE PEOPLE at our pleasure for WE ARE THE PEOPLE and he is our employee! Remember That America!

You’re right about one thing….that song is really tragic!
Actually, it’s quite simple. Our elected officials cannot use CONGRESS APPROVED AID as a bargaining chip to get “dirt” on a political opponent.
There is a reason for this. Imagine if that were allowed, every elected official will be doing it from every party. Imagine the chaos! Finally, any sovereign country can investigate whomever. They don’t need our President engaging in personal political gamesmanship using our public funds. That’s what makes America a better country. It’s that simple.
